Bird Brained

Living with a wooded preserve behind your house means you have LOTS of birdies singing and visiting and of coarse Mom being the soft touch she is just HAS to make sure they don't go hungry so over the last few weeks more and more bird feeders have started appearing in MY tree. Last week when my Princess Katie was visiting her Dad bought Mom a backyard guide to Florida birds - needless to say Mom has now become obsessed trying to figure out what species are visiting. Her favorites so far have been the cardinals, blue jays, mockingbirds and the yellow rumped warbler who sings his little heart out all day long. Sigh - expect to see more pictures of the dumb birds appearing on this blog soon - if she is ever quick enough to catch them :) :)

  2. That's so cool. I had to go to the store and buy birdseed this morning as our feeders were completely empty when we got home.

  7. That's an abundance of feeders! SHE loves birds, too. We're lucky that most of the birds are too quick to end up in a photo!
