Yesterday we took Mom and Dad to MY Cowspotdog Arboretum Gardens and discovered a new tree that was in flower - it is called a Fringe Tree. Mom said it looked so pretty and delicate - we just thought it smelled good :)
OMD Boys.... this is just the sort of stuffs that we LOVE about Blogville and our Furends who take us to super places ... We have NEVER heard of a FRINGE tree before. THANK YOU fur Sharing it with us. It looks LOVELY.
We used to have one in our garden! It's also called a Yorktown Snow Flower Tree. Our mom's home base for a while was near Yorktown, VA - so her sister sent her one! It died a couple years ago; I think it didn't care for our Kansas winters. We liked the SNOW part of the name! Cammie!
that's a fabulous tree... do you know if they are available for backyards too? or are that more "wild"trees who want to be free?
ReplyDeleteCrikey .. that is pretty AND delicate. Did you pee on it?? I would have.
