2,4,6 - Our Goose Families

We have three Canada Goose families living at our pond and they must be 'even' geese cause one family has two babies, one has four babies and the last one has six babies. I - the Reilly dog enjoy telling them to stay on their side of fence. Mom thinks it is funny that they hiss at me and not her and of coarse the Dweeb is too scared to go any where near them!!!!

  2. You are very brave! I'm a little scared of the geese. They once chased my little human sister when she got to close to them.

  6. WE helped you Bark at them to Stay on the OTHER side of the fence....
We see that the mom and dad geese don't let their babies play together.... OR with YOU.... THAT is interesting....

  7. I have to agree with the Dweeb - I am sure it's fun barking at them (Kilo would go crazy) but those Geese Parents can be very scary. The little ones sure are cute X Susie and Kilo Pug

  9. You do not want to make them too mad at you Reilly as they can break your leg with their bill. It is nice that you have such wild life right in your own back yard.

  13. Be careful with those guys!!! Seriously, pretty soon the novelty of them will wear off, trust me! We have TONS AND TONS of Canadian Geese here and they are MEAN. They are the reason that Dakota started to not enjoy walks. They WILL attack if they perceive a threat to their babies...AND...keep in mind they can FLY right over that fence.

They also poop MOUNTAINS of poop.........EVERYWHERE.

While I love looking at them too, they are much more of an annoyance than a joy at this point!
