Every little bit helps

You know in times of disaster it is often overwhelming to think about the magnitude of help required, the disaster caused and how badly people and animals lives are affected by such devastation. We think to ourselves - "what can we do" - I feel so helpless - I don't have the resources to help........but you know what - every single tiny cent helps, every tiny moment you can spare to assist helps, every prayer you can share or every thought you send their way - HELPS.

It seems like the last two years have been full of one disaster after another and sadly when this happens we become almost blase' or immune to such tragedies. Sure people are shocked and horrified for the time such events are shown on the TV - but as soon as the next news story comes along those concerns seem to fade away for many. So it is with sincere thanks that a group of wonderful furbabies and their peeps have put together an auction today to raise some of that green stuff for the animals affected in Oklahoma's recent misfortunes.

Now we know times are hard for many of us but even those few pennies CAN make a difference - do you know many medications for instance only cost 20 - 40 cents (yeah we know the VETS charge us much more than that - but for them to buy they are not are expensive as what we pay for them).  That 20 or 40 cent though - can mean a sick animal getting the antibiotics it needs, the saline to keep it hydrated, the sutures to close a wound and the dressings to keep it clean.

So please head on over to the Auction - you don't have to bid huge amounts....even a few cents CAN help and know when you look into soft gentle eyes of YOUR furbaby - there are furbabies else where looking back at you and saying THANK YOU.
