Dancing Flowers

You know - it never ceases to amaze us what we find at MY park. After 3 years you would think we would of discovered everything there is to discover but no..... it continues to surprise us. The other day we were wandering along and came across a little garden full of the most beautiful smells iris's. While we sniffed around checking for critters  mom took photos - lots of photos and kept eewwing and aarring over how pretty they were. Mom said the flowers looked like little Spanish flamenco dancers (we told her not to sniff them so much - who knows what's in all that pollen !!!)  We really don't understand what it is with peeps and flowers but they sure seem to like them. We just think they are good for peeing on :)

  1. So long as the flowers encourage your human to take you to the park, they are a GOOD THING, right?

  6. I like iris too, together they look like a firework of colors, maybe that's the reason to name it after the goddess of the rainbow? Mom said she would like to have a dress in those colors, she hase no sense for romantic and she is just a shopaholic.

  9. I'm afraid to pick flowers now because I know what my dogs do on them. BOL

As for yesterday's post, I've been talking a lot about this with different people, it seems the more "socially connected" we become the less we interact with people in real life. Which is sad to me.

When I was a kid it was nothing to come home, have supper and then pile into the car and go visiting with folks. That doesn't happen anymore. :-(

  14. Lovely iris! We planted one a couple of years ago, and I think it only bloomed once. Here's hoping it will bloom this year.
