With Mom having a bout of the sickies, my toofer problems and such we really haven't been out to my parks the last couple weeks but FINALLY Mom is starting to feel better and this morning she said those 3 magic words "Bark Ranger Patrol" - dog oh dog you have never seen us move so fast. We were so happy we could hardly sit still long enough for her to put our harnesses on. Mom said she was going to take us to the beach but sadly the park was closed today for the holiday - what the dog??? The holiday was last Saturday - I am going to have some serious barks with MY park staff about this! So we didn't get to see the sunrise over the beach this morning and instead headed off to our favorite rainforest walk.
Now some of you may wonder why most of the photos Mom takes are of me - well I am the MOST handsome, I am the OLDEST and it is MY blog but the real reason is Dweeb always walks by Mom's feet - so close that if she suddenly stops he bumps straight into her. It is very rare he will walk ahead of her unless she gives him nudge in the tush, he rarely stops to sniff anything and of coarse weirdest of all - he won't leave pee-mail. He is also always on high alert - looking this way and that way for monsters and everyone wonders why I call him the Dweeb :)
Oh butt Reilly, you do haf to be careful of those monsters and its a good job you've got Denny keeping an eye on Mom so you can go off and do your Bark Ranger stuffs. That's great TEAM work!

Reilly, you are a super duper Park Ranger! I love how you walk ahead to make sure the trails are safe for your mom and of course, the Dweeb. BOL
ReplyDeleteOz
Reilly you so funny!! Sounds like you're describing Champ instead of your brother. Guess someone has to be on high alert!!! Dweeb and Champ on alert patrol!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you know the Dweeb...er...Denny isn't just sucking up to mom to get more treats?
ReplyDeleteReilly you are just the best, but sometimes it is the quietest who when the most needed will jump and bark the loudest. you both do a great job!!!

Thats why I don't get as many photos of Oreo either! Two peas in a pod.

ReplyDeleteWell, how wonderful that you got out and about and that things are feeling better... for mum and you... Denny - no harm at all in wanting to feel secure. Don't let your big bro' bother you! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
When I was a puppy Gail was always worried I'd run off, then she'd see me glued to her ankle. That state of affairs is no longer!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
So good to see you get out for your Ranger Patrol. And Mom says Dweeb #2 lives here with his fear of those darn bikes.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
Ruby is very much the same way. She stays very close to us at all times
ReplyDeleteIt's the same with BabyBelle! It's hard to get good pics of her cause she's always up my mommys coolie! Xoxo MaddiethePug

We are glad everyone is better and you are getting out and about! Me and Stanley only hug mom's legs if we think she is trying to sneak off without us.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
How can they expect you to inspect the beaches, if they close them. Bureaucratic error, we're sure.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same 'dweeb' problem with Bella. She's only in a few of our action shots because she is velcroed to HER.
You gotta put mom in her place and tell her who's boss
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Mabel is a velcro dog too sometimes - I wonder where she is and she is right there at my feet! Glad your mom is feeling better.
