The weatherman said we would get between 1 and 2 inches of snow last night - he LIED ! What we really got was 1 or 2 FLAKES. It was so disappointing when we went to check out our winter wonderland this morning only to find sad brown grass as usual.
Mom said she would make us feel better though by taking us the pet stores to do our Christmas Shopping for our Christmas Gift Exchange. We had so much fun sniffing around although we were a bit disappointed as even though I barked and barked to tell them we were there and waiting for our treats - we didn't get a single one at either store - what gives with that???? But check out what we found at Petco a new product called "Good Lovin" and they have real Australian Kangaroo treats and Crocodile treats - how cool is that? We told Mom they would make some great stocking stuffers for us and she agreed :)
WOW...you got to pick your own stocking stuffers???
ReplyDeleteI, Dory, would have been VERY upset if I didn't get a cookie when we got to the register of the pet store..VERY upset indeed!!

We had a dusting last week, but now we are back to rain.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping sounds like fun. Mom is looking for a place we can got talk to Santa and get our yearly photographs taken.
We here have a theory that the weather forecasters always err on the side of 'over predicting' snow, 'cos they get more criticism if they fail to predict a snowstorm than if they predict one that doesn't materialise.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Absolutely no sign of snow here in Scotland. We had to smile at so many folk commented on my blog today about how much they like misty weather. I'm afraid this in this part of the world, it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt!
Stocking Stuffers??! We think you need to be stocking up just in case the weathermen DO get the forecast right and you get SNOWED IN!
ReplyDeleteHow's you niece going? Is she better?
That's a result Guys, getting Mum to go Christmas shopping for you as well as the prezzie exchange. Is she going to make you wait or are you getting to sample in advance ?
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

ReplyDeleteBummer about the snow but the treats sure do look yummy, Reilly and Denny!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Well, if you can't play in the snow, you might as well go shopping.

We are sorry you didn't get your snow. Me and Stanley love snow too but ours melted.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I've been overindulging in kangaroo treats lately. Only mine come fresh from the bush and not in bags. I can help myself. Don't have to wait for anyone to hand 'em out. They're the best kind but the ones in bags are good too.
ReplyDeleteMom said she wants to be a weather lady. They get paid lots of $$ to guess
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
We got some here, but it's gone now.
ReplyDeleteThe weather men are wrong here all the time. It drives me crazy!
ReplyDeleteThats disappointing about the weathermen getting the snow forecast wrong.
ReplyDeleteSorry your morning started out... as a disappointment... butt your mum turned it into a FABULOUS Outting... where you SCORED some REAL AUSSIE TUCKER.. RIGHT????
ReplyDeleteHummmmmm....good lovin.....well gotta go now and tell Mom all about that...its her favorite place to shop! well for us anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
WHAT??!! NO treaties?! Oh man, that's just not right! Is that some kind of Aussie torture?! Wave the tasty morsels in front of your snooters, then say...NO! Oh boy, I thinks that is creepin' up on doggie abuse guys!
ReplyDeleteI, myself, would have taken one and RAN! BOL! (maybe that's why I'm not allowed in Pet Stores...)
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Sounds just like the "snow" we got here:( But now we need to get to Petco too - those treats look great.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
You guys were really well behaved at the treat store. We're only allowed to nose things...a little.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get as much as they said we'd get, either == but we did get a little and that's better than nothing!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Maggie T.
Parts of Buffalo are getting 6 feet of snow right now! In one storm! Can you imagine? I can't, and I live in snow country.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time you had shopping. I'll have to try out those kangaroo treats.
How could the store NOT give you cuties something. Especially after you asked so nicely! WTD?!
ReplyDeleteMore treats? I don't think your mom was disappointed about the 2 flakes (of snow). Love Dolly
