Get up and go......

Mom says her 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone' - she just hasn't been feeling her normal self this past week and spends a lot of time starring into space. I even had to remind her this morning that my one week of torturous enforced rest was over and it was time to go for a walk. We finally wore her down with our pathetic whimpers, leash nudging and big sad eyes routine and she agreed to take us to do our beach patrol. Now I must admit it was the most glorious day, bright and sunny, clear blue skies and only 55 degrees. Mom of coarse complained constantly about it being cold (what a wimp) - whereas we thought it was perfect for galloping all over of the place - ahhhhh it felt so good to have the sand between out toes again :)

    The holidays can be so exhausting. We are having a hard time getting our Mom energized to get our blog going again. We bet she would love it if we could walk on the beach. Hope your Mom is feeling better tomorrow.

    That normal self we understand, this holiday season has been the hardest we ever remember. Yep a nasty gremlin been hanging over our heads. We tried to keep busy to the point of just dropping over dead tired. Maybe the New Year will be brighter.
