Home again home again

Mr Reilly is home safe. He had to have two
teeth removed - the big one at the back that was causing the abscess and one on the side that had the top broken off and was exposing the pink inside. All the rest of the teeth are perfect and he didn't even have any scale on them (which for a 6 year old dog is pretty darn good). He just got his teeth polished so they would be nice and smooth. He is on a soft diet for the next week as he has sutures in both places where the teeth were removed and will be on antibiotics and pain meds for the rest of the week too.  He is still a little groggy but is outside dogervising Dad who is digging a hole for a new tree. Thank you every doggie for P.O.T.P - we know it helped keep him safe.

    Hi Reilly, wow how did you break the top of your tooth? My dad took away our Nylabones because there was a chance that we could break our teeth too. We hope that you're better soon. Maybe hold out for a little ice cream...

    Yea!!! SOOO happy to hear your did good Reilly!!! You be sure to get lots of yummy soft chewys!! I'm thinking cheese is the key here!! Maybe some nice, soft peanut butter treats too!     Oh no, so sorry that we missed your previous post. My mom was extremely busy lately with her students as many of them are having public exams soon. Well, I know it well that it's also her lame excuse as well.

    So glad to hear that you're okay, Reilly. It's amazing that you don't have any scale on your teeth. I start to have a bit nowadays and Mom is scratching her head now.

    Hope you're feeling much better now.

    YAY!!!!!! I was thinkin' bouts Reilly all day! I am so glad he camed through his dental so well. Thank goodness it be all overs and he nows he can recoop.
