We headed off to the beach today and there was something on it we hadn't seen before - Mom said it is called 'seaweed' ....I don't care what it is called - all I know is I was OVERCOME with the urge to roll, rawk, wiggle, rub and do anything else to get that wonderful smell all over me. Mom isn't sure if it is like doggie catnip or doggie crack - I just know it was totally PAWSOME !Sorry we didn't get any photos but between Mom laughing so much and me wiggling they all turned out a blur. She says she wishes you could of seen my scrunching around on my back with my feet and booties waving around in the air :) Mom says next time she will get me on video (if she can hold the camera still enough because she will be laughing so much) We sure hope Dad doesn't read about my seaweed adventure - he gave us both baths yesterday bawwwaaahhhhhhh. Mom says actually I don't smell bad at all - in fact I smell like the seaweed shampoo she uses :)

ReplyDeleteReilly, there is only one thing better than rolling in seaweed, and that is rolling in decomposing fish. Yes really! It's what all the best dogs do on the beach. Go on, give it a try one day. Your Mom will love the smell in the car on the way home…

Crikey ..... how happy do you blokes look and I can almost see the smile on your Mom's face too even though she's not in the pictures. That's a GREAT beach you got there. I'm so glad you're all enjoying it so much. Like Bertie I can't wait to hear how your Mom likes it when you find a decomposing fish or bird to roll in. I find 'em often and if you think seaweed smells good wait till you find one of those. Absolute heaven!!!
